New Start Date Status
We are pleased to inform you of a minor update to the offers function of CVMinder. This helps both ATS and HUB users to better track their starters.
Status for Offer Status and Start Date
We have supplemented the current Offer Status with one for Start Date. Our Care and Education customers may only agree a final start date after completion of employment checks. That means that some start dates can only be provisional or a best guess until the successful completion of all checks.
Many organisations are working to shorten the time taken to complete employment checks. As they review the on-boarding process, a clear indication of the start date status is paramount.
The Start Date status can be found:
- on the home screen,
- in offers and
- in the placements queue.
Indefinite Start Date
For customers in Care and Education, a start date cannot be finalised until close to completion of employment checks. An indefinite start date means that this date will almost certainly change. It’s just a guess at this stage.
Negotiating Start Date
Start dates may be subject to more than employment checks alone. Agreeing a start date for new employees may also consider notice period, line manager availability and much more. Whilst a final date is being discussed, change the Start Date status to Negotiating.
Start Date Agreed
Once both parties have finalised the start date, change the start date status to Agreed.
