How do my jobs get on Indeed?

CVMinder ATS sends an XML feed to Indeed that includes CVMinder ATS clients’ jobs. If your jobs appear on Indeed, it is because they are included in the feed that CVMinder ATS delivers to us. Jobs that are sent to Indeed in CVMinder ATS’s XML feed are enabled with Indeed Apply (opt-in), which means job seekers can use their Indeed Resumes to easily apply for your jobs on Indeed.

How do candidates apply for my jobs on Indeed?

CVMinder ATS supports two application methods for Indeed applicants:

Redirect: If the job seeker finds your job on Indeed, that job seeker will be redirected to your CVMinder AdLink. The AdLink is a shortened URL that directs the applicant to a branded copy of your advert and application form.

Indeed Apply / Smart Apply: Your candidates will complete much of their application on Indeed. To achieve this, CVMinder delivers part of your application form to Indeed. CVMinder then receives all of the information requested to create the application and open an account for the applicant.

How do I know which candidates are from Indeed?

To find out which candidates come from Indeed (and other sources):

Go to Reports and select Application Analytics then choose the Applicant Sources report.

CVMinder differentiates ‘Indeed Apply’ applicants from other applicants who have been redirected using AdLinks. So, you will see two references to Indeed:

Indeed Apply: applicants arriving via this application method.
Job Board Indeed: applicants arriving via AdLink redirect.

What can I do if I don’t see my jobs on Indeed?

Without Indeed Apply: If it has been more than 24 hours since you created a job in the CVMinder ATS platform and you do not see your job listing on Indeed, contact CVMinder ATS customer support and they will help you troubleshoot why your job may not be appearing. If they’re not able to help you, you should log into your Indeed account and request help. If you don’t have an Indeed account, you should request help via the form on www.indeed.co.uk/hire/contact and say:

“I am a new client of CVMinder ATS, an Integrated ATS with Indeed, and my jobs are included in their comprehensive XML feed. I need a CS rep to review my jobs to determine if they are suitable for organic visibility per Indeed’s Quality Standards.“

How can I attract more candidates to my job listing on Indeed?

Without Indeed Apply: Sponsor your jobs on Indeed to attract more candidates. Free postings lose visibility over time, but you can sponsor a job by logging into Indeed and creating a campaign to make sure your listing gets noticed by more relevant talent. Sponsored Jobs get up to 5X more clicks¹, and you only pay when people click on your jobs.

With Indeed Apply: With the partnership between CVMinder ATS and Indeed, you automatically reap the benefits of Indeed Apply, Indeed’s easy, mobile-optimised application process [but you need to opt-in with CVMinder]. How do Sponsored Jobs work?

Since thousands of jobs are added to Indeed each day, free job postings lose visibility over time. Relevant Sponsored Jobs stay visible for as long as you run the campaign. When you need to hire quickly, open hard-to-fill roles, or attract talent in a competitive field, you can promote those roles on Indeed straight from CVMinder ATS. Job seekers conduct a search for jobs on Indeed, entering keywords relevant to their experience and background. Indeed then matches the job description and location to those keywords, and the job appears in search results.

How do I sponsor a job?
